Are these books any good?

Wonder if we could set up some sort of poll to see what books people enjoyed or thought were best for them
I can make a list up of the books and could take it from there

I’d be interested in this, some books can be rather expensive so would be useful knowing what others have found a worthwhile read/reference.

From the Preface of the above Transport Source Books Datsun 240Z compilation:

"Following a few years after the acclaimed Honda S800 sports car, the Italian designed Datsun 240Z was the original of a series of Z-car coupes from Japan."

So whilst they may be interesting to read, don't treat them as gospel...

And a few more this time on various individuals relating to the Z story ( but don't shoot the messenger on some of it)

The one I like out of these is the Project 240Z one because of the different layout style

This is an example of why my ancient brain finds the Project layout so different from the normal write ups on things

Some more dating back to pre early 1990s and shows how some of the information has became more factual today due to the internet making it easier to learn of facts that were not easily available at the time of some of these being written

Does this mean I can get away with the small size front number plate that is legal on 70’s Italian sportscars?

Anyone else care to share their thoughts on these please, especially the Wick Humble, before I buy?

I think the Wick Humble book is very much worth having. Even though it is aimed squarely at North American market cars it is still a valuable reference for how to take apart - and put back together - one of these cars.

Seconded. It was an invaluable resource when I rebuilt my Fairlady Z 15 years ago. That and a Haynes manual are a powerful combination still.
