Excuse me? I haven’t said anything about this car not being a good one - I wouldn’t ever buy a car in this condition, I’m not sure why you’ve said that?

My apologies, it came across wrong and I didn't intend to offend you.

I love you Dan and don't wish to upset you man, especially over something this silly.

As it happens I do have the original advert.

"Bare Metal restoration" no he didn't he merely repainted the outside

"Everything has been upgraded, renewed, refurbished or replaced with brand new parts!" Speaks for itself if you read this thread.

"All rust/rot proffessionally cut out and welded." No he didn't!

"All electrical connections and connector blocks have been cleaned for hassle free maintenance driving!" no he didn't.

"All nuts/bolts/washers and fitting have been replaced with stainless steel where appropriate and old fittings have been polished back to bare metal and treated" ahem!!!!

And so on and on.

Read up the thread - I was a huge Don fan and really liked his enthusiasm / wanted to see him achieve the ambitions he had for this car but sadly his advert and attitudes at the end of the thread turned my opinion of him and his agenda.

And certainly the car should be bought with great caution and a thorough going over with a magnet.

Now let's get back to your lovely build - is she gonna make it to Silverstone 50th?

I’m fairly thick skinned I try not to get to upset over the internet.

From what I can remember on the thread he never showed us pictures of the repairs it just all of a sudden appeared in paint but I may be wrong.

As for the hardware being treated... black brushed on paint is kinda treatment :D

That was half the problem with the whole build. He said he did a lot but never had the evidence to back it up, or was unwilling to share.

I assume this has kicked of again as it's up for sale on Facebook.

Dan, Ali - sorry boys, my fault you two had a little bout of "handbags" there due to my throw-away comment which was supposed to be humorous but with hindsight probably wasn't. No offence intended to any owner past, present or future of this car. Now let's all kiss and make up!

Well I enjoyed wearing the high heels ;)

I thought we were having a debate. Sorry if it came across as a spat.

Debate I can live with! In which case I’d like to say sorry for saying sorry. Sorry, but I want to be the one who’s most sorry. :)
PS nice heels, by the way Ali - Louboutines?
