That doesn’t sound right Steve. The user name holds no associated personal data on its own. I will look in to that a bit more.

Booked for the Saturday and the exhibitor ticket for car and driver is alot cheaper than the early bird admission only ticket.

Sorry Steve that's utter rubbish.

That is what I think as well so I am going to contact everybody who has said they are going and also those who have posted up stating where and when they are staying asking them if it is ok to include this info in a list to be used to attempt to push the event
Of course only the relevant username will be used and no other personal details like real names or car Registrations or model

Donington have released the following info and images of upgrade work being carried out before the DHF :)

NEWS: Major programme of winter works underway at Donington.

An extensive programme of upgrades and enhancements is well underway at Donington Park, as the East Midlands circuit prepares for its second full season under MotorSport Vision - MSV operation.

Full list of improvements and upgrades:

‍‍‍ New spectator entry at Paddock Entrance with concrete wall removed
♂️ Improvements to spectator entry at Fogarty Esses
Tunnel to infield at Esses to receive new LED lighting and better signage
‍ Metal crowd barriers in spectator areas replaced with more attractive wooden equivalents
Greater vehicle capacity at Starkey's Parking area
⛺️ Significant improvement works on infield campsite drainage
➡️ New and improved signage throughout the venue
Relocation of race winners' podium
Several brand new marshal posts
Additional concrete run-off on exit kerb of Old Hairpin
♻️ Recycling areas in paddocks for competitors and track users
New Pit Lane Suite ideal for briefings, meetings, banquets & conferences
Hundreds of new trees planted

So does this mean that we won't have to use that c****y infield track? If they are building new entry AND exit, I might just take a punt.

Now booked for Saturday. Will probably travel there & back on the day but yet to make my mind up.
For anyone who hasn't yet booked accommodation Hotels.com are presently giving a 10% reduction code on many Hotels , for example a double room can be booked at the Cedars Hotel (plenty of members staying there) for £38.37 per night, cheap as chips just add the discount code AFFVCUKQ1519 when booking your room. If you don't fancy The Cedars there are plenty of others.

Thought I'd cash in on the action, just booked a Saturday ticket, and booked a room at Cedars on Saturday night again this year (prices are jumping with demand, cheapest I just got was £49.38 for a single room with discount directly). I'm planning on doing Japfest again on the Sunday, makes for a nice scene change on the way home...

Booked a weekend pass and Saturday night at the Cedar Hotel.

Should give me the push I need to finish the new project.

I'll be in attendance. Hopefully staying at the Crossroads Motel (Cedars) again
Let's hope they have made some improvements since last year

Organisers emailed me yesterday to say they have been waiting for the timetable to be finalised, which it now is, and are keen to help with our parade lap request.
Good news and I'll update with more info when I have it

Anyone stayed on site before camping over the weekend. I would not want to leave the car there so would like to get the motorhome in to the campsite.

I've booked to bring the z31 on Saturday and Sunday with my wife joining us on Sunday.

Nowhere to stay yet, is there camping or any recommendations?

Really looking forward to it!
