Just see this and a bit late as I might be interested but another will come along,I’ve got the spec off of Skids for an engine build just gotta get off me butt and get the ball rolling and find someone to build it for me, any offers,Agree with Matt that people don’t want to spend money on their Zed,I’ve been delving in wot we call the future classic scene and have just got another Scooby Sti to go with my IMola Z4 M coupe both low mileage cars and serious bits of kit,got me new wheels to go on the Zed so just need someone to build the engine,got the 280zx block P90 head lined up,as for the samuri I thought the engines were made up of wots available at the time just like someone on here with wots knocking about in the shed

So I come from the Skyline and GTR background, people spend big money on engines in the UK, I had to drive back an R33 GTR with a 1200BHP £80K from an event. Even the sequential gearbox was 30K.
The S30 is fine handling car and is only just getting people thinking about upping the power that much. There is generally older owners in the UK of the S30 as well that might not be so cared about going that fast. The new restomod brigade wants to stick in different engines as they have not really fallen in love with the L series engine and annoying carburettors etc. We all love the idea of a big power L28 with carburetter sounds etc but living with one day to day might be harder.
there is money in the UK but we don't know the Australian scene, I shipped in a dash from Auz and it cost £270 and import duty of £75 on a £160 item for example

I think the engine and 5 speed box is already spoken for, the injectors and ECU might be up for grabs but I doubt you want them
