Practical Classics feature.

Hi Mike, they no longer put "single feature" cars on the front, apparently the mag draws more buyers when they feature various cars on the front, kinda makes sense. There is a mention of it, then 5 pages inside. Had a great day with the guys from Practical Classics, really good people.

My second Mustang ... a ‘65 coupe ... featured in PC back in the early 2000s, as part of a ‘Top 100 Classics’ feature (it was no.75!) and yes, the guys back then were good classic car journos. We all had a nice day out at Rockingham for the pics for the feature, bloody cold from memory.

I am collecting mags from down the years with 240s on the front, and have about 12-13 so far.

Will pick up a copy of the Feb issue of PC; congrats!

Yeah, I had an awesome time with them too, and hoping to do a Noble feature after the winter refurb which I hope to start first week of Jan.

Here are the pics from my day with them, was superb. The 240z was clearly the best too. :D

Well done Paul on the feature.
My 240Z featured in to a 4 page Buyers guide artice in 2007.
I only met a photographer for the picture shoot
The article says his name is John Colley. I had no input to the article beyond the pictures.
It was Written by Richard Dredge it says?
I found the process a bit tedious tbh.DSCF7319.JPG

Hi Pete, the Journalist is Matt George, he's one of the mag staff and subscriber to the monthly mag. The photographer is Jonathan Jacob a freelance who works for the mag. They were both nice guys and I enjoyed the day. I'll post some pics of the article once its been distributed.

was it a feature on your car or just a generic buyers guide like petes?

Hi Franky, it was a feature on my restoration, why I wanted a 240z, how I came across it, what the restoration entailed, how it was carried out, how the finished car drove and why it took 20 years to complete :). We did a photo shoot in my garage, then on the local harbour and then some driving pics. They also used some historical shots of when I was restoring the car.

You star, you! This will make another one for the wall, will pick up a copy. Fantastic write-up by the looks of it - did they get everything accurate in the piece?

Hi Mike, the only thing I've noticed is that they've stated it has a 4 speed box rather than it's 5. Think they must have got performance figures etc from archives.
