I've been watching this on ebay.

I can't make up my mind if it's a safety aid or designed to kill you in a roll over.

Those rear strut attachments look awful flimsy. (or.. Where would it attach?)
What does everyone think?
I agree, the strut attachments do look a little weak but then the seller claims it's FIA compliment. I guess those plates could be replaced with thicker ones if needed.

That was for sale a while ago (6 months) and I too was trying to work out where it attached to the car.

Looks like it fixes to the strut towers which is surely much better than safety devices idea of the middle of the wheel tubs.

The wheel tubs are massively strong, less angle on the rear brace then also.

I’d still like to see one that uses the factory fitted roll hoop fittings in the rear.

Maybe I'll have to ask the seller where it fixes to the car.
Or maybe I'll forget all about it and pay for christmas.

Cheaper and reliably safe? So that bolts to the floor and the rear wheel runs, is that right?

Thanks Jason, everyone. That does look like the better option. And price [emoji16]

I've these

as you can see, it 'bolts' to the floor and rear arch. Theres a plate that goes in the wheel wheel to spread the load points. I'm going to tiger seal my plates in position.

I guess pete was thinking of another mounting type?

Does anyone know where I can get a rear cage that bolts to the towers and the arch?

I only need/want a diddly cage and cant use the floor to mount as I have a late car with seat belt reels down there in strange cutouts on the floor

I want a rear cage to but have the same problem with my 240z , it has those seat belt cut outs where the cage would go , So I have been looking at doing a replica of the sport option one that bolts to the arch and rear panel behind the seats , unless some one has already makes one ?

Which sports option one? the one that goes between the rear tubs to the bolt in area?
