4wd summer tyres or 2wd winter tyres

Wow. I have 4wd with my Xtrail because my 370Z was useless in snow/ice and I live in the country.

Just imagine almost bald summer tyres!

I had winter tyres on my 350Z and it transformed it. Vredestein.

Yes ABS is bad on ice/snow, better to tread lightly. ABS enables steering during braking on damp roads.

I detest that from TV presenters - there ought to be some exam to pass....and whilst it is fair to have presenters from all regions, sometimes I can't work out what they're saying, let alone my kids during kids TV.

Other pet hates :

I need some advise.

Likkel fings.

Look over their.

Wonder what would happen if you pulled the fuse for abs ? Had a nightmare last year getting over Crystal Palace in a 2wd polo 5 o'clock in the morning in heavy snow.

i ran an e46 m3 as a daily in 2010-11 during the heavy snow. I had a full set of winters for it, vredesrien wintracs. really quite incredible what it would get around in the scottish highlands

easily better that the quattro on summers.

run winters ever since on all the fleet. actually have all seasons on the van which aren’t a bad compromise.
