Hi. Try a search - someone recently mentioned a place to get one at a decent price - can't remember what thread it was though. Any pics of the car at all?

Or search johnymd's posts - as it was he who mentioned it I think ...

I get mine from Ricky Evens Motorsport. He is a very nice guy to deal with and I don't think you will beat him on price. I recently paid £152 per screen plus delivery. I think on the recent thread someone else paid less than this. I ordered 3 screens and it took several months before they were available. It's worth giving him a ring and getting your name on the list.

What sort of engine will you have? I just looked it up and some of those street eliminator cars are rather quick.....
Pics would be great.

Well I'm not sure at the mo I have got to go faster than 13.5 sec to qualify but that's to think about later

I'll try and sort a pic out

Mmmm - very 'telling' pictures.

Why have you bought such a car? Ignoring the fibreglass kit (can't bring myself to mention the wonderful Italian racing supercar that this stuff tries to copy) it's had it's roof cut off!

Would you go into a local dealer, look at a few cars and say 'I'll have that one over there please, the one that someone has cut the roof off ' ?

All I can say is that it would be worth some money as a donor car for a RHD conversion.

You say you want a windscreen - why bother just cut the screen pillars off and fit a 'fly-screen'. It would look quite racy!

It would certainly need a lot of strengthening to make up for the lack of roof.
What's it like underneath?

You say you want a 'street legal' car, do you honestly think this will be possible with this car?

Our cars have become MoT exempt if they remain basically as the manufacturer built them. This one can't be classed as that, you will have to have it IVA tested surely?

Thanks I have obviously come to the wrong place

Iain, I assume your comment is aimed at me. Fair enough I have been 'harsh' but I'm being open and honest with you. In my opinion that car is best left alone.

You have absolutely come to the right place because we know these cars and it's not wise to cut the roof off.

As I said earlier the car has value (probably more than you think) as a donor/parts car.

Let's see what others think - their silence is ominous.

Look I was given this car as is I have done nothing to it but I would like to do something with it that's all it has all been strengthened underneath and the pillars on the windscreen I don't really caire on how much it's worth I would just like to have fun and enjoy it for what it is and if you can except that it would be great this is the closest to able to afford a 260z so why not a
