Oooo, lovely! WHat's the full story then with this car? We want to know all about it. Where are you based? Might be members close by if you need assistance etc.

Making some headway but loving it, can you spot the new air vents in the floor pan

Hi and welcome Gareth! :)

The car looks great, I know how exciting it was for me taking delivery from the US and that goosebump feeling. She still never ceases to put a smile on my face! Fantastic colour imo. What are your plans for it? look like the floors may need some welding.

Heya
I do like the colour but I also love the candy apple red, I’m stripping it down to bare metal to get the horrible parts sorted, I’ve got some tasty bits from techno toy tuning to replace a lot of the handling parts, I was looking to rocket bunny it but after seeing it for the first time I’m loving its original form so I think I need to actually see a rocket bunny one in real life to see how I feel, it looks like the sills, floor pans and the panel at the bottom of the boot need replacing (until I get the body revealed ). I am all ears if anyone has any words of wisdom when it comes to doing this as it’s my first ever resto, also what wire gauge should I use for the loom as I’m going to make my own one?

I got Rosie from California, it took me around a year to find one and get it shipped , I’ve never done it before and never want to again lol I’m down in felpham near Bognor Regis and now she(Rosie) is in my car tent which I have rigged up with lighting and matting so she is safe and dry and getting the much needed love and attention she deserves

There's a couple of Candy Red cars around, each to their own. I love that factory BRG colour :)

What goodies have you ordered from TTT? Not sure there are any rocket bunny kitted cars in the UK so you may struggle on that front.... In terms of stripping the car down for the resto though, take photos and bag and tag everything so that you have a reference point later! Lots of people have made the mistake of not doing this before!

If by kitchen sink you mean rubbish then yeah there was almost no space under the seats, at least there wasn’t any spiders......yet

If you haven't found any spiders yet, you aren't looking hard enough ^^. Welcome to the club. As a novice with rebuilds I have found Zclub helpful and welcoming thus far - I'm sure you will too!

Start a build thread so we can watch the project unfold!

Love your TTT gear btw!

LOL, a very comprehensive setup you've got there. I can vouch for the quality and fitment of their parts
