The Sunday Scramble @ Bicester Heritage, Oxfordshire.
7th October 2018 - 9.00AM - 2.00PM.
This is a great event. I was going to post it as a local meet, but with over 6000 in attendance at the April meet earlier this year I thought you might all want to attend EXTRA:D
Entry price for pre 1990 cars is £4 plus vat. Or the Z club could request a bespoke promotional code for the Z Club to benefit from discounted tickets and to be included in Club parking. Hint Hint EXTRA;) :willynilly:

Could be your last chance of the year to get the Z out for a good run & some car fun :driving:

Would love to have Jake but Goodwood seems to have won out on this occasion. Hopefully I'll see you all at the next one if I can!

Sorry Jay I missed your original thread when starting this one.
Spotted your car earlier in the year at Bicester, but I don't think we met up. Hopefully catch up with you this time.

Jake, and others going... Shall we meet at the big Tecso's nearby slightly earlier and all head in at the same time?

Sounds like a plan
How does an 8.30am meet up time sound?. The Sunday Scramble gates open at 9am, and the queues are normal.

That's very very early [emoji102]
I couldn't agree more Jon, it's ridiculous, but by the time we do all arrive it'll likely be 80.40 or so. Then we need to get over to the entrance and get in, and normally the queues get long. Early bird @ the Sunday Scramble = a good spot for showing off your Z ;)
Are you coming? :driving::driving::driving:

Another great day at Bicester heritage. Counted 7 Z's including one that had come up from Southampton, a cream/off white one that sold at Silverstone auctions last week, and a rally trimmed one that has been in quite a few events over the last ten years or so. The day flew by but maybe that's what happens when you're on an airfield

Was delighted to see the Z's today guys - unfortunately I don't think I met anyone as I missed you guys arriving

I got there pretty early - around 8.30 - and went for a walk to get some breakfast. Came back around 11 and was very happy to see 3 others Z's!! :hurray:

They all looked great, and got a lot of attention from what I saw  Will need to make sure I come and find you guys next time.

Lined up especially for Bicester.. a bit of red, white and blue...

A couple of cars took my eye. The following being the only car I'd consider as an alternative to my Z in the same price bracket.. and yet tbh, it could only come as an addition...

Being in my 50's, only just slightly starting to recede and becoming a little rotunda.. I'd feel better getting out of this than a 911..:D

That tea tray on the rear of the Esprit really spoils the lines, I’ll take the 911 Tim, whichever variant you care to offer ;)

Talking of cars for gentlemen of more mature years, what age do you have to be to drive this ? (cue the comedians). With some sunny weather forecast and her indoors suffering with a dodgy shoulder, decided to nip over to Britanny/Normandy for a few days and take this beautiful old SL instead of the Z. Still a young in outlook 50 something, like Timothy, I definitely don’t feel old enough to be driving this yet.
