I got a full set of bearings and synchros from cobra transmissions in the US. It needed a fair bit of work to specify the bits I wanted but we got there in the end. The bearings were all decent quality branded ones (koyo etc).

Very useful information. Thanks. Were they pricey?

This sounds fantastic! Very keen to see it finished and on the road now

On the note of 200sx boxes if either of you do go down the rebuild route then I'll be curious to hear how you get on with sourcing replacement items like syncros and bearings. I'm not sure whether Nissan still stock these or not? and from what I'e heard the aftermarket items aren't the same quality.

Thanks Woody. Me too. Should be ready by Spring 2019 I would hope. I can spend this winter putting the interior in etc ready for driving next year. Excited to be getting closer now.

Beautiful build, really well done. Love the colour.

What rear anti roll bar are you using? I wasn't aware there was an option to fit an anti roll bar to the T3 drop mounts? Also which finned cover are you using?

Thanks Ian, appreciate your comments,

Its an ST Suspension rear Anti Roll Bar, the T3 drop mounts are designed to work with it and fitment wasn't too much of a problem.

The finned cover is an OEM Nissan as far as I am aware? (it came with the R200 diff)

Thanks for the info, had a closer look at your photo so I can see how it is attached. Where did you order it from as I don't believe T3 will ship them to the UK?

Definitely an option to make my subframe connector mods easier to do but I'm not sure I want to run thicker anti roll bars.

I ordered the roll bar from Summit Racing in the states. I've ordered from them before and never had an issue and would highly recommend them.

Bit more of an update, the Z Story manifold clashed slightly with the bulkhead/floor interface. It was an issue I was aware of, but opted not to squash the pipes or bash the floor. The collector and y pipe were modified to clear where required and looks pretty
good I think.IMG-20181015-WA0000.jpg IMG-20181015-WA0001.jpg IMG-20181015-WA0002.jpg IMG-20181015-WA0003.jpg

Will now be focussing on the interior, radio, heater etc once I have reassembled the engine bay after the manifold work.

Looks great. I wish I'd had that option when I decided to bash my floor.

I can imagine. I just had the local stainless exhaust place do the work, they seem to have done a good job, although I haven't started it up yet since its been fitted.

Just for reference my Zstory exhaust and manifold cleared fine, only thing I had to modify was my transmission mount because of fitting the S14A box and I over engineered it causing a very tiny interference.

Now have lights, and new gauges which work ok. Only coolant temp sender needs fitting as the Autometer adapter is the wrong size.
