Jon has been a Z owner since the 80's and is (still ?) Chairman of the Classic Z Register. He bought and restored Lynn Godber's 240Z if I remember correctly. There was an article fairly recently in a classic magazine?
In my experience a nice chap and knows a lot about Z's.

John Newlyn is Jon Newlyn and he owns one of the first two 240z that came into the country
The other one was owned by Kevin Kays Dad who was one of the early Dealers in the country and Kevin actually remembers his dad arriving with the car out side their house
That car turned into a HSCC car that was owned by Peter Riley and then by his son Tim and he took it down under when he moved there

Jon has an Aussie import I think and anyone of us that have had a Zed for thirty years plus could probably be classed as a walking bible in Zeds especially those of us that have actually maintained our own cars over the years, think we are a dying breed
