280Z Turbo

I was thinking that myself when I saw it a couple of days ago, providing it's running smooth and the body work is in good shape.
It's certainly more of a complete car than most of their other offerings for not much more cash as well as being on UK plates.
The engine bay wiring is a bit of a mess, hopefully not indicative of the quality of the rest of the swap (but probably nothing that can't be fixed).
Someone with a bit of technical ability spending a total of £20k, as you say, should end up with a pretty decent result.

I bought it on Saturday. Runs very smooth until about 65mph and they splutters a bit, but then recovers.

The engine bay is a mess, but I'll fix all that.

Got any interior shots of yours?

I've just swapped the wheel out, so I have a basic shot.

It's pretty standard/old, albeit with a Blitz gauge bolted poorly onto the steering column. It's running 300zx electric seats which are surprisingly comfy. Momo Prototipo wheel, Tomei shifter, crap carpet. It really needs a lot of attention - I've got a spare dash but the appetite is low at the moment to get it fitted.

What is that slot for in the centre console?

You appear to have a 240Z console.
