Hi all,

I bought my 76' 280Z US import a year ago, and after slaving through the cold winter months with a welder and most of the engine in bits, shes now finally running and ready to UK register! Fanatastic to be part of such a great club!

Just wanting to know if Mike or anyone else available to issue me the clubs conformity paper stating the year/vin etc that the DLVA accept for UK registration?

Time for MOT soon and then would love to come kick it at the next meet, all things going well with the DLVA :)

Also Im after a brake booster if anyone has one floating about they dont mind parting with? I have a vacuum leak in mine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I've imported and registered quite a few zeds now and never had to provide any conformity paperwork.

Its because I dont have the original Log book from the States, thats what the DVLA have asked for. Pretty standard, I believe Mike at MJP Autos can provide this? Can seem to get ahold of him.

Mike is often hard to contact because of personal reasons and so we are in the process of transferring this responsibility to someone else. I'll contact the new 'post holder' to see if they are ready to start providing this service.

Thanks for the Link mate, just got a new one today shipped from the states. Ive blown into the vacuum outlet on the front of the unit and air is coming out between the 'crimped' metal casing! This should be air tight on the front side correct??? Bloody faulty Item! Another waiting game!!!

I didnt have the logbook and didnt need it. I believe as they were sold new in the UK it's not req'd.

Good job getting it running!
