It's exactly that service Francois, cost around £90 I think, and it is just as I said to have the car shown to be adequately repaired to have the loss marker removed, yet as mentioned earlier only with certain services. And yes the car will always be damaged/repaired. It doesn't mention anything on the V5C irrespective of repair, Autolign inspection or otherwise.


it was an interesting read, seems it'll always have a marker, just one that removes the c/d and gives it another as an inspected car.

Where would you take a car in this country to get it done? who would you or the club trust?

Don't you have a recognised independant body/organisation of car valuers ?:eek:

They're called 'experts' here and give an 'expertise', we have our own pet club one who is currently restoring his260Z.

These are the guys who give owners their insurance valuations for agreed-value policies.

Ours regularly visits clients with multimillion euro collections.
