Toyota caliper conversion Flexi brake pipe length

Id like to replace the OE flexi brake pipe and hard line to caliper arrangement, with a flexi direct from the wheel arch to the caliper.

I can make an estimated guess with a bit of measuring, but if anyone that has already done this, if they could take a definite measurement,
ideally the pipe length including fittings please

Thanks

I finished installing my Toyota/z31/spacer setup tonight but hadn't considered going flexi to the caliper. I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I come up with.

I've seen some braided ones that have a banjo bolt on the caliper end, and I think i used golf ones before , will try and find the link

It would certainly make things easier when you have to unbolt the caliper for some reason, you can tie it up out the way, without having to crack open the brake lines.

I haven't had a chance to measure yet but I'm guessing 50mm longer than the standard flexi should do it. One end will be 10x1mm female convex seat and the other a straight 10mm banjo. does this sound about right?

Anyone know the standard flexi length?

Had a measure up and I'm going for 13" in the style I mentioned above. I'll probably order from the net. They look to be around £20 a go. How much would a standard one cost?

John, did you do this in the end, 13" didn't seem long enough to me?

Just bear in mind that you need to have a joint that is easily undone with a nut that spins or a 'banjo' connection, otherwise you have to disconnect the pipe at the inner-wing not the strut/caliper.

13” is only just long enough so wouldn’t advise this. Going a bit longer will help when the car is jacked up.
