RB25 Install planned, bodyshell strengthening required?

Hi,
I’m at the bare shell stage of my 260z rebuild, which I have another build thread for, but I’m trying to figure out how much extra work I should put into the shell for an rb25 install, coil overs, updated ARBs etc, is there anything that would be beneficial if done now.
I’ve considered stitch welding on floor rails and inner wing legs as far the cross member, perhaps shock towers and also the extra chassis rail to bulkhead bracing but not sure if this is really necessary for 350bhp, plenty of installs appear to be stock.
Any suggestions?

I am doing some chassis strengthening on my 1JZ conversion. Not started it yet but as well as welding the seams I am adding some triangulation from the bulkhead to the chassis rails which will be hidden when the wings go on.
Strut brace and triangulate that back to the bulkhead. Similar thing in the rear.
Not putting a cage in mine at this stage.

It won’t need it at the moment but nice to know it’s done now if (when) I stick a huge single turbo on it and go nuts!

Thanks for reply Russell, I hadn’t considered bracing on the outer side of the chassis rails, is this something that you’ve seen? Do you have any pics.

Plenty of people running that sort of power without any chassis work, but if you're at a stage where you can add it - I would. I'll be doing it when/if I get the car stripped down.

I don't have any pics yet as we are not to that point on the build. I think Ian with his RB26 260z has done something similar.
He has a build thread on here.

Worth adding strength if you can, I seam welded a lot of the front end and adding some bars to triangulate the front a bit, I will soon be extending the frame to connect up to the rear subframe.
