Sounds just like the sort of info I'm looking for. Is there a specific model of superlite? Any spacer required for the disc to hub?

There is no spacer required for disc to hub.You will need to drill one additional hole for the stock 4 stud pattern.I think we fitted longer wheel studs too ,to allow for the thicker rotor.Pads are available here in NZ ,not sure about UK..Here are a couple of part no's :FPR 501 R ,compound is DS3000 if you' re racing.Alternative part no :AP F 403.The rotors :Zoelli Z R03.013.02 or Protex DR 379.
I am using the Protex. It is way cheaper and, yes it is Chinese, and so far ,so good.

Do the 3.5" wilwood lugs line up with the zed strut?

Nissan/Datsun caliper dimensions are metric....Wilwood calipers are imperial
But the 3.5 inch hole center of the Wilwood is "very" close to the S30 strut hole center

When I was using them (directly bolted on) several years ago I found I had to slightly enlarge the caliper holes to suit

No probs Steve.

So the superlights will bolt up to the standard zed strut with minor mod. Which disc will then best suit the caliper location?

Ahhh now then
The reason I moved away from said setup was that the caliper didn't "wipe" the disc correctly and the caliper offset was about 2 mm out, all together this didn't provide confidence inspiring setup, plus the discs were drilled and when inspected showed horrific cracks (thermal).

Hence the T3 setup which is very competent for competition use.... and with softer pads really good on the road

If you have a similar setup (the T3 setup is just one of many variations on a theme of 4 pot, rotor and bell combinations) and don't find this is the case then its not setup/installed correctly.........;)

The brakes on my blue car have evolved and for the last 5 years I've been using the similar setup to the ones you now use and love them. I only intend to have one fast track car but require the others to have "improved" braking that does not brake the bank. Horses for courses as they say.

For me the wipe pattern was spot on and the only time the rotors cracked was when I let them get below the recommended min thickness of 20.5mm I let them get down to 18.5 when I noticed the cracks.I was way more vigilant after that! I raced the butt off the car,so the set up was definitely durable. The 2mm off- centre thing is easily countered making it inconsequential. If it stood up to several seasons of racing,it will never let you down on the road.
