Red/Orange car looks better ?
Just £26k

Wyn, I haven't seen the other car 'in the flesh' but this was like new inside. No rot but the engine bay needed 'refreshing'.

Lovely car.

The other one may be as good 'on balance' - nice to see some 'survivors'.

Yes I did Rob. Cars that have only been driven 15,000 miles in 50 years always worry me a bit.

I actually saw this car and the paperwork. Paperwork was spot on, original mileage. Great car, I put a commission bid on it 25k incl fees, but lost.

Some minor bodywork was needed, the odd dink here n there, mainly the engine bay needed attention, but interior wise was like going back to brand new, doors shut with a nice solid clunk.. Brightwork, save the back bumper was a joy to behold and the glass, well not a scratch.. looked pukka.

It even has an old Z Club window sticker on it
Hi Steve, It was featured in the Z club magazine. 1991 I believe, titled as "Possibly the lowest mileage Z in the UK. I think at the time it has about 8.5k lol.. It even had the receipts for ZClub membership in the documentation.

Yes I always liked the colour of my/your car. This one certainly looked an interesting prospect. Very low mileage often seems attractive but, as I say. I don’t think cars benefit from being allowed to sit around in garages for years on end without being driven.
Surprised to see you bidding on another 260 though - thought you were looking for. 240? Why would you want two 260s?

Because your car has convinced him, because he's cornering the market with a future investment.....'cos he has a double-garage ?

Was this made use of in the auction description ?
