Pretty central where I am but when I have been oulton and tatton we get ok turnouts

Donighton gets good turnout of s30

Silverstone we don't really do but few members do go but I don't think they get big numbers there

Last time we celebrated we did the parade lap at Silverstone with good turnout of zeds

I Dunno what venue will be for the best as it's not gunna work out for everyone unfortantley as there quite a few owners in Scotland

I think a big majority of zed owners are down south as

billing used to get good turnouts but can't do that

One of the issue aswell is g people up to come out in there zed to meets as there fare few members cars I have photos of but ha vent seen the zed in years. Maybe there mot has run out. Or bad health but don't want to sell it. Or they just drive it and don't go shows anymore:/

Centre of Uk Not including Scotland as there might not be part of The UK by the time this event takes place ;)

As you’ll see in the BBC article, the town of Haltwhistle in Northumberland proudly proclaims itself to be the centre of Great Britain as it is mid-way along the mainland’s longest line of longitude; and there is a stone cross in Meriden, near Coventry, claiming to be the geographical centre of England. Some people claim the point farthest from the sea must be the centre (a spot just east of Church Flatts Farm, about a mile south-east of Coton-in-the-Elms, Derbyshire), but others don’t think this can accurately be called the centre…so, where is the centre of Great Britain?

The truth is, that there can be no absolute centre for a three dimensional land mass sitting on the surface of a sphere and surrounded by the ebb and flow of sea water. If you consider the movement of tides on a beach, the shape of the object will change on a constant basis. Another contributing factor is how far you consider the coast to stretch up river estuaries. Different projections, scales and methods of calculation will all produce different results.

So pretty much no where is central :confused: :leaving:

I'm north east of Scotland and gave up on the central argument years ago, as long as it isn't cornwal I'm happy.

What about Tatton Park? Stately Home to visit, annual classic car show, central for everyone (except Sean) and on site camping and local hotels.

I like that Tatton Park is West of Silverstone, so a little close for me.

Since I will most likely fly in anyway, the tarmac at Gatwick or Heathrow works too.

In that case I'll suggest somewhere slightly south of there, Nissan Sunderland!

Hello everyone!

Back from Nogaro Festival of Oldies, we had a trip with 4 Z's in the Massif Central mountains.
Very nice time with the 240Z, both on Nogaro track and french small roads!
Total 2950 Km from Reims and back to Reims with 100% reliability: It's a Datsun!!:driving:

Now, back home, we talked about the 50th anniversary in 2019, and the possibility ;to have a french group joining in UK. (3 to 8 cars)
When do you think you will have defined the location definitely? This is the first requirement for us to evaluate possible members attending.
The second requirement is about overnight location to get rooms. Some are young and can prefer the camping. Others and me are too old for this now!
The third step is to define a roadbook for two days more, with some nice area to visit (Wales?), staying on country roads with sightseeing.
This is why the location definition is required. We would prefer to book the requirements as early as possible.

Thanks and hoping to meet on this occasion!

is it purely limited to 240, z32 & 370 or do you wish all Z line?

I agree for Silverstone , but can you show a map with other tracks ? Donnington, mallory park, oulton park, Caldwell pârk,and others i miss ?
I raced in 1985 at Silverstone , and track has changed since this prehistoric date !
well, one year and a half still remains , but never too late for the choice
