hi everyone,
after finding a whopping bug crack in my rear left Tyre i think its time for some new ones.
the current tires are 195/70R14 INDIA tires made in japan.
ive never heard of them and they dont exist on google so ive no idea how old they must be.
can anyone recommend a brand of Tyre in that size?
im not a speed freak and not going to track day the car so im not after performance but i do want a good Tyre and not plastic ditch finders.
these old tires have a pretty odd wall shape with what i can only assume is rim protection but give quite a classic shape.
it would be nice to get some similar classic looking tyres but not essential as ive seen some pretty expensive classic look tyres:eek:

I need some R14s as well. 195 70 is a correct size relative to original. There is a full choice of brands in this size, from budget to premium. Or you could go to 205 65 with a slight reduction in wheel circumference and less choice

I'm currently using Nankang NS2 205/60/14. They're very cheap (£40 each!) but work good for the money.
The're are a little smaller diameter, but look alright.

This is the best I can find from a few months ago.
The rims are 6.5"
