What are people's thoughts on these?
About 18 months ago I had a guy reverse into me at some lights (lane was blocked ahead and he wanted to get round it and needed more room) no damage but my insurance was notified of a claim that I'd driven into him. Luckily I had the dashcam footage to prove it.
Since then I've put them in all my cars, including the mrs one as well (I have a great bit of footage of her being an idiot and moving into a lane packed with ice everyone was keeping out of, and spinning her little Peugeot - luckily she was fine and didn't hit anything). But now I'm considering putting them in the Z...
I know people like to keep their cars original but is the extra security worth it? After all the good ones do act as an alarm camera etc as well if anything is stolen or broken into whilst parked and back the videos up in the cloud. And if anything does happen you have evidence of idiots on the road.
Is it worth considering them in a classic car? Or is that blasphemy...
