Firstly hi and secondly - switch off your spell check please:D.

Steel wheels were standard with metal hubcaps but Google an image and you'll see.

Any car, import or not that is basically rust-free (never entiremly) is a good start.

Know with what you want to end up - end use etc !

Usually the following dictate choice

Budget
RHD or LHD
Stock Vs slightly modified Vs restomod?
Want project or finished article
Did I say Budget?

Lots of helpful folk here and a few traders who can support and assist in your search.

I'm in the south east and always enjoy talking zeds with people. If your local you could always pop over for a chat and I'll explain the for's and against for each model. I've got a few cars but none for sale.

Budget £20-30K
RHD or LHD - RHD nothing worse than a LHD for car parks and drive throughs
Stock Vs slightly modified Vs restomod? - Totally standard
Want project or finished article - finished

Easy EH?

I wouldn't do car-parks with my Z - too many ar*eholes opening doors !

Tolls and drive-throughs....people behind have the perfect opportunity to ponder a little longer on their imminent order AND rejoice in seeing a beautiful, rare car in front.

Finished, stock RHD for £25k.......realistic-ish, just don't get your a*se bit by a duff one polished up to look good.

Slightly over your budget but fits the requirements I think:

Orange Australian import belongs to a member on here ( Gary ? ) and in view of the high prices paid recently for rhd cars surely must represent good value ?

If that (alleged) Samuri at NEC is worth £ 48k, still leaves a lot of spare change in your pocket even after putting on some bronze paint and triple carbs should that be your thing ;)

Don't understand why this car has not sold more quickly as been advertised for a few months now  Proves that market is very difficult to read at moment.

It certainly does look very good value - I wouldn't think you'd do better than that for a rust free RHD car any time soon.
Perhaps the thing that has held it back is the recent re-spray? it's much easier to validate that rust free status with a car that has clearly not been touched for years.

I've seen the car pre-respray and it didn't have to be done, marvellous body.

Have a look at his Threads/Posts:

I believe you Rob. My point was that the potential buyers don't know what you know.
Any that now stumble on here will be enlightened

Hi, yes, the car in question is my car. The Orange one advertised for quite a while.

We are moving to Toronto for work, and need to sell this car, and the rest of my collection (including an NSX, couple of early 911s and an MX5). The car is rust free. It was before the bare metal paint (pictures to prove and confirmation from James at Fourways, and viewed by Rob Gaskin). Lots of pictures during the paint process confirms NO rust whatsoever.

Very little interest in the car. Virtually no calls or viewings. Very surprised tbh. Not sure what more I can do to advertise or promote. It is the real deal... nothing to put off any serious buyers. Must be good value at my asking price. Any help or advice to help me welcome...
