JDM passenger foot rest... or is it?

Just got an email from the supplier of the new old stock Nissan replacement rubber grip saying that it is "sold out and no longer available from the manufacturer"... really, well who would have known!

I wouldn't have bothered in the first place but their website had it listed as "IN STOCK". :banghead:

So now I need to wait for the refund. Pathetic really. Any muppet can post up a parts catalogue and then try and get hold of the item...

Oh well never mind, my hopes were not high that the correct item would turn up... it all sounded a bit too good to be true. And guess what, it was!

Was it from a UK company? I've bought from the US before and then been caught with the exchange rate losses on the 2 transaction conversions.

It was ordered from a German outfit. Don't want to name any names yet (until I get my refund). I will be checking to see if they still list it on their site, if they do I will be naming them. The thing that's really annoying me is that it was shown 'In Stock', but stock level was show as 'Low' which led me to believe it was on a shelf either with them or somewhere they could get it from. Poor effort on their part.

Just checked the seller's site and it now says "no longer available". Oh well at least that stops someone else wasting their time...
