Well if it's good enough for Paul Newman
Just arrived from sunny CA and definitely a keeper for the Datsun collection, smitten.
This is the car to make sceptics revise their opinion on the ZX. Yes, put on a bit of spread and not as pretty as the clean lined earlier 240Z but the 2 seater is still a striking looking car and with 180bhp quick enough to see off any factory standard Z from earlier years.
1982 2 seater 280ZX Turbo T Top, just two owners and 50k miles from new
0-60 in 7 secs in comfort with refinements, what's not to like ?
Timewarp condition. All original paint and looks exactly as it did when left the factory.
Perfect for European touring although slight problem as Mrs.Vega comments on first sight were less complimentary 'pimpmobile' (bit harsh as not even the red velour and dash version) and 'poo brown' spring to mind followed by you'll be going on your own - result there then
OK, so the gold wheel arch trim may be just a step too far but that aside, I love this car.
