Jenvey Heritage ITBs

I heard a rumour about these a while back from someone at a show. That's very cool - period cosmetics with modern tech hidden inside. Certainly good for discreetly updated retro-mods.

I've never really liked the "look" of the jenvey twin throttle bodies and much prefer their ITB's but these twins I would go for.

So what do you disguise the electronic 'gubbins' as - a second battery? ;)

So how much would this lot cost if converting from the Hitachi setup? I'm guessing about £2k.

Nice idea though - I wonder if they would 'pass' scrutineering for a historic rally?

Most Zs I've seen that run triples are very thirsty and poor at low revs so this could be the answer.

Well the full Emerald kit is just over 2k using the original twin throttle ITBs, so I guess it depends on how these stack up price-wise individually versus the originals. Plus factor in £550? for the Mangoletsi manifold for a tip-top setup.

Don't know whether I'd say my Z is poor at low revs btw. Always thought it was perfectly tractable, although Dellortos have a more advanced progression circuit than Webers making them better for road cars. Then again, as my daily car is an Integra TypeR, I'm used to revving it's nuts off in all situations, so maybe that colours my view somewhat! Won't disagree on the fuel consumption point though...
