Yes good and I know you are a Chris Harris fan.

I might get some mature content now.

Do you know, I really had a gut feel she would be part of the pack - though not convinced she'll have the personality to make the trio as scintillating. But boy can that girl drive.

Time will tell I guess!

Most people couldn't do the Nordschleife in under 11 minutes in a high performance car let alone a Transit so big respect, however the jokes and banter may be lost but I hope to be proved wrong.

Cant wait!

I guess it depends on what you want from the show. If your a fan of 5th gear and more serious shows then this may suit you. I don't think it will have the same childish stupid entertainment that a large proportion of the audience loved. It was an entertainment show for those that weren't into cars as well as those that were. That's why it was so popular.

I hope it retains the lighter side or I'll just have to continue watching all the old re-runs and laughing at a citreon being pushed off a cliff.

In the late 1990's Sabine used to own / run a bar near the nurburgring - and I have had many a happy evening in there while on holiday in the area, the place had a great atmosphere and was just full of 'normal' people having a good drink after a day blowing money on laps of the ring. She ( considering how well known / successful she was ) came across as a really down to earth person with a great sense of humour...she served the beer and socialised with the punters all night long who where all just average joe-blogs types like me....I can honestly say I'm not sure how many other people with her level of success would be happy to talk **** / joke / serve beer into the early hours of the morning night after night.......and then thrash an m5 ( the ring-taxi ) round the 'ring as a day job.

That is rather cool :driving:

She has always come across like that, very good, a little arrogant (perfectly acceptable) when it comes to driving and down-to-earth.

Her family still runs a B&B there I think, Im sure stayed there in 2014.

Good job we've got Amazon Prime - I can continue to indulge childishness watching the old three's new show!

Ok we are all different but to say what I like is boring is wrong unless you are being specific to your view of it.

The guy I play badminton with will watch cricket all day but will never watch motor-racing so we agree to differ.

Rich, you know Rudyard Lake. Lovely peaceful area - until 3 idiots try to sail Motorcaravans/cars across it. If you tried to do that you would get stopped.

All I was saying Rob, is that top gear wont be top gear without all the childish and funny stuff. If they fill it with mature content then they will lose half there audience and it will be just like 5th gear. Its popularity is due to its entertainment content and not the motoring side.
