hi can anyone advise me i have a water leak above gearbox can anyone tell me why water line is there and best way to tackle as i can see the leak where rubber pipe joins metal pipe but thats about it can see it but carnt get to it lol can the line possably be deleted? any help apresiated thanks

Sounds like one of the heater hose connections - the rubber pipes link metal waterways on the engine to the two heater spigots which stick through the bulkhead on the driver's side.
They can be accessed and replaced with everything in place, but it is a tight fit down the back of the engine.

hi thanks ill look at that the water leak isent near bulkhead its above auto gearbox and driping onto gearbox the pipe looks as if it goes towards rear of car

all so it could be one of the turbo water lines that run at the back of the engine too
these are common for going hard and splitting

hi the water leak isent at back of engine near bulk head its dripping onto top of gearbox about a foot away from firewall it looks as if it goes or comes from rear of car ill take a pic when i get chance

turbo water lines and heater hoses on bulk head were changed last summer its nether of these
