Recommended clutch for fast road / some launches

Hiya,

Before the car got laid up I ate the clutch being a complete tool. After burning it up it stank for ages, and now under full power it'll slip.

I have launch control and like to boot it now an again, so thinking of uprating it. I don't want to spend £800 on a clutch though. I don't mind it being a bit heavier, but it don't want to build a drag car. Only aiming up to about 400hp ultimately.

Can anyone recommend anything and a supplier please? I've been all over the American sales sites like Z1, but it would be nice to hear a recommendation or two.

Thank you muchly

RPS Street Max..... Got one fitted.
Will take the power and a bit of abuse.
About the highest rated organic disc you will find.
Pedal pressure is quite high in an NA but with your girlie servo in the TT it will be fine.
You probably will need to import one as nobody/ virtuallly nobody keeps stuff on the shelf like this in the UK.
ACT are well specced too but both me and Skiddel found the pedal pressure high.
Plenty of puck clutches around if that what floats yer boat.
Jeff TT has a couple available ... There are pictures etc somewhere on the "other side". co.uk

Great, thank you Pete! From your recommendation a lot of other people say the same so I'll go this route. Found one in the UK for £360 as well :) I'll look see what Jeff wants for them.

Did you bother with an uprated clutch fork, as per CZP 300ZX Upgraded Heavy Duty Clutch Fork Kit - Nissan performance parts or not needed?

Cheers

I think a new pivot ball would be useful but not that kit you linked.Yer mota aint that old or that powerful in the grand scheme of things
IMO...IMO
