Hi Folks ! Just finished the install of the complete poly bush set yesterday and will post up some piccies of the finished items on here . It may be helpful to others doing or thinking of doing the same job. Had my mechanic at Citromech here in Wokingham do the job (they are the best ive used ) and it took about 18 hrs  Bear in mind that this car has never been touched however and most of the suspension bush bolts were siezed solid  Any questions,,fire them up here and I'll do my best to answer :driving:

Right now who's noticed the next 2 jobs for the coming week??? Yup,,new steering rack stainless lines where one has developed a crack , and the rear section of exhaust in stainless   The bush job was a pain in the a**e actually,,,certain portions of the shells and other bits have to be re-used and we buggered the pin on the near side rear suspension arm and had to get one fabricated at a local miracle worker with a turret mill and lathe .

Did you notice if the front tension rod bushes had dimples on the side?

I fitted a set on my z31 that didn't...result was a snapped tension rod under breaking within a few weeks, just lucky I wasn't going too fast.
I went back to standard rubbers on the tension rods after that.

One reason why I keep going back to their garage when I need to,,,just a whisker over £600 vat inc. Not to bad considering the time spent. ( there normal shop rate is close to £55 per hour, I think)

Yup,,the proper ones are on,, One thing we noticed ,and that Mr F brought to my attention was the fact that the kit supplied applies to ALL the variants, so you have to be careful when fitting to be sure the proper ones are used ,and not to worry when you have unused ones ! :D:eek: Also,,and I stress this ,,,READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ! supplied with each bush set,,,,some original shells and pins have to be saved as you progress,,as we found out when we destroyed the rear swing arm pin. Lucky I know a very good machinist (all modesty aside) ;) otherwise that cock up would have been about £200 at your local machine shop.

Been for a bit of a thrash around south Berkshire this morn,,and amazing how much tighter and better the car feels ! :driving: A feel squeeks now and again, but in my experience thats pretty normal with poly bushes. Now to sort the steering rack feed pipe that got whacked with a pry bar and same for the rear exhaust section. Cheers Mr F on suppling the kit and your advice !!

If you have any questions before hand Quagmire, just ask. Not an easy job , but do able with a pit or a lift. I would'nt advize trying it on jack stands etc, as the complete rear has to be on the floor pretty much. Glad I didnt try that way anyhow, :D To be honest I could have ,with a lift done it myself in a weekend, but with ther pub forever rearing it's head I just dont have the time. Hence the garage and helping when I could.

I'll probably axle stand it and drop the rear subframe and drag it all out complete with diff etc..

Cheers for the offer of advice, I may just do that :)

Hi, Got a serious problem when braking from speed, high vibration make it uncontrolable on the front end anyone have any ideas how to fix, had the wheels ballance but its just getting progresivley worse, discs look ok, but cant see any thing that may cause the problem

Try taking the front disks off and mount them on a lathe or any other such stable platform,,spin them slowly and check with a dial indicator for runout and warpage,,,thinking about it you could use an indicator with the disks mounted to the car . :) It sounds like warped disks wich you would not see on a visual inspection, or if they are ok then loose bushes or worn ball joints would be the culprit . :driving:
Might even be wheel bearings ?
