Does anyone know anything about this "Janspeed" body kitted 240Z as I would like to know more about it's history.

It has been stripped for track use and has a 2.8 (N42/N42) with a Piper hr285 cam, triple 40 webers,Janspeed manifold, twin fuel pumps, twin fans, oil cooler, adjustable spring pan suspension, uprated calipers and vented discs,Goodridge brake hoses, roll cage, bucket seats with race harnesses (and some rust).

I bought it from a chap on Anglesey who in turn bought it from someone else on Anglesey who had owned it for 15ish years.

Mmmmm

Whas that the car described in Classifieds as a Racing 240 but no pictures were forthcoming?

Take the rear wing off and sell it back to an airline company.
Then get welding and you could have a good looking track car.
Oh in my opinion you could do with some wider wheels.

as far as I am aware Janspeed never built another racer so this is most likely to be a copy by either John Rich or there was another guy who had a set of moulds made so it could be one of his creations.

As discussed I do have moulds for all the panels and also the 3 piece rear spoiler that I run if they are of use to you. If you need to see how I have attached the roll cage then gis a call and come and have a look.

Enjoy. They are bloody big from inside

That does indeed look like the one I asked the guy for pictures of, infact he had a lot of bits. Well worth the money for spare parts BUT the car has no ID/logbook etc...

Yes Dave it needs those big wolfies on it to fill the arches. I will need to get it running to check engine sounds ok.

Dan if you mean the arches? if so send Ben240z a pm,he might be able to help.

Hi mate, narh I meant the wheels because im looking at the extra wide ZG flares that are made by zforceproductions - I have pm'd you a bit about them and a couple other things though

Sizes are 15" x 8.5" fronts and 15" x 10" rears bought them off Pete Mac from a advert in the classifieds.

Nice! Do you know anywhere I could get some 17" wheels with the correct offsets and staggered fitment with 10J rears? Hard to find any in 4 x 114.3 unless I can convert my hubs.

A tad harsh - beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

A proper one with the right paint, wheels and spoiler looks mean - see Ben240z's on here or look on YouTube "Janspeed 240Z".

Lets see if we can jog any memories.
Who had the car before Chappers? He cant remember but it was north wales for about 15 years so going back to the 90s?

Who else owned a Z with the Janspeed kit on it?
