Back seat

Should the 350 & 370 have a back seat as it's in competition with the TT, it could be losing out on sales, the 911 looks ok with a back seat.

& with the engine in the back also. As has been said they could have reshaped the roofline on the 260 2+2 because you can only get kids in the back anyway so headroom would not be an issue.

Good question. There is the Skyline 350GT that has 4 seats but you need to get an import:

When I saw one in the flesh I was surprised how different it is to the 350Z. I was expecting the odd panel or detail to be the same but I didn't find one that was.

I think Nissan are heading more towards the Cayman market really.

This car in the US market is the Infiniti G35, same platform and engine spec as 350z, now superceeded by the G37 coupe, more sleek, more aggressive and using the same running gear as new 370z, but released middle of last year well before the 370z. My understanding is that the UK will start to get the Infiniti brand soon

The G35 is quite a nice car, but the front end styling is a bit weak and too 'saloon' like for my liking.

That is so ugly AND bland at the same time !

The 'baby' sportscar will be badged as a Fairlady ;) and aimed at the MX-5 market !

No 2+2 for the 370Z :cuss: - no 911 or TT customers buy their cars because they have two luggage seats more - Nissan are aiming for them because German cars are the customers' reference - Nissan believe and know that their products (I include the GTR35 as well) are superior !

Ive always thought that too - the front end always gives me the impression that they started designing a 4 seater saloon and then turned it into a 2+2 coupe at the last minute.

Whereas I would have liked to see a 2 seater sports coupe suddently given the +2 at the last minute.

The front end is heading toward Mercedes saloon style imho.

WOW!

First time I have heard anyone asking for the GT-R to get bigger

It's mahhhoooossssiiiiivvvve already

It doesn't look as big as the R32 or R33 or the R34.
I still think the GTR should have been the new Z but with the Z's running gear.
