As said my package has been thrown together just to see if I can get the main bits right
Dave’s is a master piece compared with my work
Hats off if I had the time, money and inclination I would love to own something like that.
But as usual as I want everything done yesterday so it will never be lol :D
Still as i've now heard my car fire I can spend some time sorting all main jobs still to do
Including correct
Final engine/box position (need the Z31 diff flange before I can do that)
Propshaft length (As above)
Exhaust (mod to fit?)
Fuel tank/ fuel feed (need to get under the back and get the tank out)
Fuel surge tank/ Fuel pump (as above)
Radiator (in the post) then find hoses to suit
Intercooler hoses (waiting for the rad so I can see whats req)
Put the dash/loom/console back together (time)
Lots of silly jobs inc speedo/ rev counter aswell as body work that’s now starting to look bad, esp when I poke holes in it lol :smash:

Your right, Dave's car should be a master piece.

As requested
Not much to look at atm but it fills the hole :D
Engine looks a right pig as it spent almost a year outside under a cover

Still when the rad arrives I can start on the hoses n intercooler fitment

Fitted a boost gauge inside the old time clock today, so should have that hooked up next.
When thats done I can start putting the trim bits back together and clean the inside aswell as them wires up

Nice job, these Early turbo Zeds are getting common lol, I fitted my boost guage in the clock as well, seemed like a good use of the space.

Bit more of an update

Most of the dash is back in so its looking a bit smarter in there now
Engines much the same tho I've now run it up and the oil/ charge/boost gauges seem to work
Still gotta wire the stock tacho in, but think I'll leave that to someone else
I dont understand elec diagrams, esp with funny symbols lol

Got a D21 mechanical speed drive to fit the R33 turbo box which fits good
pic shows it half way installed
Arrived in just 3 days which I was amazed about, esp as they told me it had to come from Japan ...... and would take about a month lol

Again need to mod the old tunnel mount to allow the cable to clear but it should clear ok when done.

Found out an old fuel swirl pot which I had kicking about from me old Escort Cossie
Should do the job when mounted right

044 Fuel pump and mount now ready to find a new home aswell

Also got itchy fingers today so whilst under there I pulled the stock diff flange off the 260z R200 diff
Looks like the R33 skyline flange should fit, but I need to mod the dust cap as it bottoms out on the diff case when fully home
As far as I can see it measures up the same, I think ;)

Forgot to add
Intercoolers out being modded to fit
Alloy rads arrived so ordered up some silly cone hoses to to get that fitted
