The plan is that you can join a group, then you know who's in your group, you can group message, share pictures etc.

This should be a great help to the local group organiser or anyone else in that area to easily keep members aware of what is happening in the area

At the moment you will only be able to add your name and where applicable your Avatar will appear in the listing

It'll take a bit of dev to see how we use this feature, but I see it offering a way for you to pledge your allegiance to your local group(s) and stay in touch that way.

The only group area that has the message section open is the SOUTH WEST one that is being used as a test mule to try and develop the Local group social area

You can find this by going to

Forum -> User CP -> Social Groups

Or by clicking http://zclub.net/forum/group.php

Sign up to your local group now and lets get using this feature :)

Include me, although my 260z is near death and in critical care in a mechanics garage being worked on. Douglas

managed a mini meet at a local event in Aberdeenshire by accident when 'smokie' parked beside me in his very clean NSX. And as local woman came up and chatted to us who had a 260 & a 260 2+2, one runner one not.

I am not 1200 miles in and only had it 6 weeks, really very useable, making the most of the sunny dry weather today.

I did learn there is a 240z in a village just north of Aberdeen that is used regularly.

Also found a mechanic, one of the local race car mechanics, friend of a friend learned his craft o 240/260z's, so good to know.

I'm still about, just not on here very often. Great to chat at the weekend with "istoo", great car and provided the momentum I needed to get mine back on the road.

I am near Aberdeen and have a 260z 2+2 which I use as my run around, also another 260z 2+2 currently being restored, might sell it. Also purchased a 260z two seater for a future restoration.

Just hopped on again after a manic week. Nice to know there are a few of us hidden about! There is a 260z in the transport museum, although it's **** at the moment after tragic accident midweek.

Pilot, did I meet you at RDSF, or is this another one? After seeing almost none here, great to know here are more about.

Smokie, if you need mine for reference, will happily take mine down for comparison and/or as many pics as you like
