WOW ... performance figures for a Yugo ... I had one of those, but it was a 65A. Apparently the 'A' stood for 'American' meaning it passed all their safety regulations, and the '65' meant BHP. Looking at that chart it says the 55A only had 45 BHP. Mine however had some serious mods done to it and could quite happily top 120mph running on a 1300cc twin choke Weber ... not bad for a Yugoslavian version of a Fiat 127.

If you check the top it says that you're not allowed to reproduce it in whole or part without written permission of the editor. He did it... Everyone saw it. The Bristol (apart from being a ww2 plane) is based on a bloody old chrysler v8 from the 60s. They look awful (like a saloon car that had to be a certain length so they added a bit to the boot after the C pillar. Just crap. So what is the awesome fact about the Nissans then?

I can't stand it anymore....it's a Beaufighter and it was an early WWII fighter-bomber, later used for coastal protection and submarine hunting as it became outclassed and replaced by planes such as the Mitchell.

The Bristol etc was one of the ugliest, wastes of time I've ever seen come out of Britains craftsmen !

I don't think it was craftsmen. They were just good engineers who knew how to work an engine. They knew bugger all about anything else. Now, there is a Bristol that does look really cool (the 'fighter') but it costs so much money you could have a new GTR, a new Caterham R500, and an F430 and still have enough change to take all your mates to Barbados and get pissed on Mount Gay Rum and dance around on the beach playing volleyball, doing limbo and eating jerk chicken! Good times.

Also, I forgot they did a 2.3litre Chevette! How daft is that. Isn't that the HS that Tony Pond used to drive. Woohoo!

Firstly to get the anal part out of the way and delaying my warrant for execution - I did not reproduce it - i got it from another site(although you would not have been aware of that ) and anyway who... zzzzzzz ...... oh i can't be bothered.
As for the awesome fact(no 2) -the 300ZX Turbo was one of the quickest manual cars in 5th gear from 50-70 in 5.8 secs beating all manual Ferraris, Porsches, TVRs,Lotuses, Maseratis and Lamborghinis of the time.Only the De Tomaso Pantera was quicker at 5.6 secs

but I count 15 cars quicker just scanning down the list before I get to the Nissan. Admittedly some are autos but they're still quicker which is what counts....no ?

Having had a Z31 turbo, I wouldn't call it particularly quick in 5th gear!....To get any decent acceleration you needed to drop a couple of gears....3rd gear was good for nearly 100mph anyway!
