Will be getting a set from Rick Wong $250 + shipping as you pointed me in his direction

Did you use the Toyota mounts ?

Also been to see Andy today as he lives 8 miles from me and have had a good chat with him about the conversion, just glad that i can call you both up for those daft questions "Where the Hell Does That Fit"

Mike should be able to get the mounts from an 86 supra if my memory serves me right, I can try and find the part number if needed. Rick should sent you instructions on what you need to do anyway.
If your replacing the turbo's then fit the mounts first as the mount on the turbo side is a bitch to fit as there's no room to fit the bolts easily.

Great stuff - tell us all your plans!

which RB are you going for? the RB30 bottom, rb25 head is a great combe, just a shame the RB30s are plentiful like in Oz!

Are you staying standard turbos, or going wild single?

What engine management are you going for? good opportunity to go for a good standalone.

Keep it coming!

I think Thor or someone like that has a container full of RB30 bottom ends

I want a NA RB conversion, but so far haven't figured out how to make any significant power from it

I got a quote from Thor for an RB30 some 12-18 months ago and it was quiet reasonable, if you search t'internet (particularly the GTR forums) there are a number of people that have sourced them and built serious
engines.....cant drive them for sh*t (well certainly not at the Pod) but seriously nice engines never the less.

OK chaps hold your horses

RB30 with the RB26 head bigger Turbos - Bigger injectors all very nice but 5MPH and 20K NO NO NO

I want a driveable car that also performes well on the Strip & Track Days

I think that i will go the RB26 Twin Turbo version rather that the single one

1) Engines are both about the same cost to buy
2) Same time & costs to put in RB25 or RB26
3) RB26 bottom end is stronger so if i do want to play it will give me more scope
4) Both use the same gearbox
