You could opt for a "painless" generic harness. This would probably be the cheapest starting point although it wouldn't be the same as a zed harness. If you go for a custom loom using modern cables it will nit be cheap. The wire I've just used to do my engine loom is not cheap at 63p/m. The MK1 escort he is doing at the moment will be a good couple of grand.

63p per metre! You cheapskate Johny
So 2k / 63p = almost 2 miles of wire. Blimey your car must be longer than mine!
