Dash pictures and paint colour

Hi

A few people have asked about the spare LHD dash we will have so here are a few pictures. It has the usual sun cracks which I think can be filled but not sure. We're weren't looking to sell the dash for a while as it may help us rebuild the RHD one but I guess we can strip it down if anyone has an urgent need for a cracked LHD one.

Also attached is a picture of the chosen colour test panel blue115 which is not the original lime green but which I prefer and the roof which is nearly finished it's final guide coat/flatting and is as smooth as anything.

Holidays will slow things down for a week or two now but more pictures to follow in a while

cheers

Tim

I don't mind putting my factual Z story on here if there is a consensus that is the right thing to do. I certainly wouldn't want anyone to repeat my experience but also that doesn't mean every car they ever did was as bad as mine. If a few people agree this is ok I'll put a factual account on a separate thread.

Wow ! absolutely stunning !

I notice you have also deleted the horrid rear markers & done the rhd conversion, both of these things just make it even better in my eyes.

Well done you must be thrilled to bits.

Thanks for kind words and plan is for as good a RHD conversion as we can do. It's been long and painful to get here but the quality of car we will have at the end should be far better than the original car we were going to get. Hopefully on the road late spring 2017.

I'd be interested in reading more on your experience but it's for the forums superpowers to ascertain whether it is 'okay' to do really ...

I have heard so many stories about problems with the Z Farm that nothing would surprise me now. My dealings (minor) with Duncan however have always been good and he has been true to his word. It's such a shame that everyone's experiences aren't the same.

The reluctance to invite comment has been that as a Club we don't want to open ourselves up to legal action. If member's experiences are posted on the Forum and are 100% accurate (how can we guarantee that?) then is there a problem - I don't know?
