Be nice if someone had taken some pictures from back in the day of the samuri when they were done or at events

It's on the register as Andy Smith that used to own it

Andy did own it, however the 'Register' has the wrong picture attributed to the car. The picture on there is of the car now belonging to (unless he's sold it) Red Baron.

The Samuri sold for £46k, the green 260 for £13k.

I don't know if buyer's fees were included.

Yes Rob I would say buyers fee included as the green one was £11500 on the hammer!
Didn't stay to see the Samuri as the auction was very slow.IMO

Does it show a variance between 240 and 260 prices and desirability?

Franky every time there is a sale you try to find a way of making your car look the most desirable.

Perhaps LHD was the major stumbling block!

However yes I agree a 260 will usually sell for less than a similar condition/history 240.

Rob, can you please explain that please? If we were in the 80’s I’d suggest a chill pill.

I was talking about auction prices between a 240 samurai and a 260 samurai.

In the uk market a lhd is always worth less.

Tbh Franky - you were'nt clear and as two cars had been mentioned there was a 50/50 chance of someone picking it wrongly - Rob duly came along and took the blue pill.

That said Rob, blue is for chilling so.....Franky posed a valid question whether referring to Sams or 240/260.

A LHD 260Z is a good alternative to a 280Z if you want your car to be closer in 'feel' to a 240Z ie not all the cosseting and weight gain.
