There many more over here for various reasons.
What category does mine fall into Sean. Must be one of your five. I bought HPE 109K about 12 years ago and other than putting in an original OEM radio it's still as good and 'original' as when l bought it,

Well, don't tell me those door mirrors were original but you've probbaly got the 1x OEM part in a box along with the steel wheels and trims.

Steel wheels and the trims for sure. There are so many unopened boxes l have no idea what's in the garage, so possibly. Anyway, it must a top contender for a top UK registered zed.

Except that the Island of Ireland is not the UK....well, I guess it will stay say if the UK coughs up the £2bn handshake.

I always remember when Lynne had a ding in the front of the bumper and she had what looked like a small Elastoplas covering it

I was more looking for a comment on the car. After all, it is a genuine UK car and the oldest official UK spec Z remaining.

Aside from that, l just want to let the few people that might be interested know that Zep is alive and well on the Island of Ireland.

Lovely looking Z, that. But I guess it has been restored - the paint isn't original is it?

It has OEM radio's fitted now and works the electric aerial.

Chassis number is 971.

It was repaired/resprayed by the previous owner for wear & tear and the odd small accident.

It had quite a hefty rear-ender at one point late in Lyn's ownership, requiring - if I remember correctly - a complete replacement rear panel and quite a lot of jig work to pull the rear quarters and tailgate shuts back into alignment.

At one point she was worried it was going to be written off by the insurance company, I believe?

Ouch, didn't hear that before. Still going strong anyway, so l'm very pleased it got repaired. Best l drop the 'odd small accident' comment.
