Red and bronze work well especially when you come to sell it.

Yes dark metallic blue really suits the car.

I thought Dean's car was supercharged - if it's the one he had many many years ago. I may be able to find a picture to show the colour.

Sorry no I have got rid of all my Z pic's to lose the memories ! Dean's user name on here is turbo deano I'm sure he could even give the paint code. Not sure but Dean's car maybe still in that colour, think it was about 25 years ago when I saw his Z at a show & it totally blew me away

I had a blue Z & used to have many comments about the gorgeous colour, it was a very nice shade sorry don't know what it was, but anyway Dean's was the nicest blue Z I ever saw.

Just go for a dark met blue & I don't think you will go far wrong.

That's my opinion on the matter. As for wheels do something different to the rest of the crowd

Finally got to see it in the flesh today, managed to mop up some Imperfections and will have one last flat and mop before I start fitting lights/badges. Really need to sort getting my suspension shot blasted and the lowering springs Rob kindly donated on to it!

Anyone know anywhere I can send my nuts/bolts too for zinc coating?

Some more pictures:

Looks good Dan.

What paint did you use in the end? I've spent about 5 hours today getting a mix to match the PPG it was painted in. Now got a good match but it was bloody tiresome as its a strange colour to match.

I used a 2k lacquer over base with a cheapish pro paint base but the better quality lacquer from max mayer. All supplied by NRP here and I have around 2 litres spare for future cock ups...
