Took a trip to Texas to look for houses, ready for a move out of California. More house and more land to park Zeds.

Just as I arrived, 2 chaps called and said that the parts and car I had been talking to them about for months were ready for me to pick up...what timing. Anyway, I had my computer with me so the world wide web and technology helped me close the deal from a thousand miles away.

Parts delivered with the help of my dad and the car is to be retrieved today.

Great thread by the way.

Great stuff Mike. I can't believe you're thinking of leaving CA though ... I'd move there tomorrow.

I've just ordered leaner emulsion tubes (7772.5) and richer air correctors (145).
Should have them for the weekend.

Have you got a link Jon? I need some - I keep using rags lying around the garage and then kicking myself 'cos they're covered in glue or brake fluid or other stuff I don't want on the car.

Datsun branded? (not that I'm sad). I'm still using my old Ford Mustang ones!

Here you go,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N9J79..._rx37ybD7DCE5X

Waterproof and magnetic and thick enough to prevent scratching etc.

Non-branded as they'll be used for all the different cars we have, and I'm not that bothered for something designed to get filthy!

Cheers. They're not very thick though? Maybe they don't have to be ...

These are my ones ...

There's a cover on the above site going round the front and both wings - nearly $200! Amazon it is ...

That looks like a good set. I couldn't find any decent ones in the UK to be honest that were a reasonable price. My plan for these is to put a yoga mat underneath (don't tell the mrs) to give it a bit more cushion.
