Just my cup of tea. Very tastefully done. But what's that "lifting ring" sticking out of the bonnet (hood) ?

Tow hook for circuits is my guess.

I like the fibre top/roof but not keen on the cutaway rear bumper. Good on the guy tho for having the confidence to be comfortable with this kind of stuff

It's ok but nothing new to have an extended hardtop, lots of these around in the 60s.:
