I really enjoy this restoration story, thank you for including us.

Would your car have been fitted with a rear spoiler when new and should the front indicator lights be in the front valance and not on the bumper?

Albrecht will tell us.

Is that a response to my post? If so you will need to explain what you are meaning.

If you are just stating a fact then yes I love happy people too.

Hi!

Thanks a lo for yout feed-back!

jonbills: Thanks a lot! We are doing what we thing it's correct to get te Z back for another 40 years!!! But I want it with all the originality!

Rob Gaskin: Thank you for your words! I like to document all the stages on the resto, I think we all learn a lot with it, that's the reason, but at the same time your opinions count a lot too! when I'm not secure about a detail I ask and search for infomation and that's one point of this.

Abou the Z, This car is the HLS30-23644, a serie II and it had crashed during the 90's. By that time they made some modifications. The front indicator lights, rear bumper, rear window and center console are not correct, they are 73 spcs. I have been buying all the parts to put her in the correct year. when the car goes to painting I'll start to caring the correct parts to install them.

The rear and front spolier, wood steering wheel, Kobe seiko wheels are equippment that came with the car when new. In Portugal all came with it. I believe in Belgium too! Our Z's were one of the most complete they are the "U". If you go back in this post you will read about it.

uk66fastback: Thanks a lot. I'm very happy too! This Z will going to be an awesome car! I'm waiting for the painting day...

Very happy for you, great photos and great work by Mr. Vitorino.

I am curious as to whether you found any chalk markings under the glove compartment such as the ones Albrecht posted?

Keep the photos coming please.
