With regards the larger images, once you've created your post and submitted it, then click on a thumbnail in your post and the image opens, click on it again and copy the web address.
Then click edit on your post and use the add image button, paste in the web address text and position the cursor next to the existing thumbnail html, if you save it and view your post now, you will see you now have a large image and the thumbnail, you can then simply delete the thumbnail html to remove it, just leaving the bigger image

A bit long winded, as you have to create the post first with thumbnails, so as to get the address to be able to then add the larger image!

Hope that makes sense

You can also add images to your gallery and then use that web address as the add image text as above

Derrick, few pics of the press tool.
It was supposed to be a quick prototype and Iíve made the male and female from the same plate. I couldnít get the jigsaw to cut that tight a curve hence the poor shaping. I just filed the angle in after cutting and welded the male onto a backing plate. Once the plates are lined up perfectly so is the pressing. Despite the cutting innacuracies the pressed result, just using a vice came out fine.

Toopy, well impressed, Thanks. I can file metal, but PCs have me beaten!

I tried the attachment method suggested by Toopy and it seemed to work on my tablet, but then they’ve not showed up when viewed on the phone. Re-attached here...

Yes clever work there. I like the way your repairs are finished off.

This should keep you busy for a few months.

If you have the time (and the tools) - and more importantly, the ingenuity, you can accomplish many things!

Brilliant work.

I never use my phone or a tablet to view the website, prefer to use the PC

Stuff you can do on the computer on the forum, doesnt always seem to work on other devices, no idea why!

Time for an update, itís been slow going due to lack of garage time and to be honest I spend a long time faffing on the finer details.
In the past month or so Iíve rebuilt one of the innner wings and front chassis legs, added extra internal strengthening for an upgraded ARB. I bought a 2nd hand spot welder, which has been great, but needed longer arms for the shock towers, 1 metre of copper bar sorted that out. Slow progress but great fun and very absorbing.
Iíve decided to put an RB motor in so itís kind of changed the chassis such that Iím now stitch welding the front rails and probably the shock towers.

You're very talented T&B! I remember hiring one of those spot welders back in the 80s to do the sills on my MGB.They're a great tool to have access to. Good work!
