Even down to the rubber caps that go over the door switch for the interior light can be reproduced.

I had a pair of brackets 3D printed to stick some bright LED's for indicators hidden behind the grill. Took about 5 mins to make a cardboard template, 15 mins to make the design and got a friend to print it for me.
Came out brilliantly!
I think with 3d printing, where I've seen prototype parts, they're prone to UV issues and have a life of 2-3 years in certain applications and locations?

I'm with you here Doug - these cost a fortune to bring over.

I tried with FRP but getting 'em right AND especially the reflective struip and fixing brackets was a nightmare.

Dashboards......!

Are you just asking for suggestions that an engineering company can make?
Most people can't afford them.

Those that can take their loom to a wiring guy and collect it all new whilst others leave that in-house where their car is being restored.

People's desires now are so varied - Efi, extra Ipod conections, specilist this and that, PAS etc,e tc and all for a tiny RHD market ?

C'mon - way too specialised imho.

Choke knob for 73-74 240's and 260's.

They re-pop them for 70-72 but not later.

Need to find a 3D printer guy and pump out a few dozen.

I have yet to see a 3d printed component from an 'affordable, non industrial' printer that would even come close to the quality or finish of a production part.

Ah, so not for the spare wheel then...unless a second for the over-cautious.

I thought of this type of arrangement for a competition car. A chrome ring could be fitted to tidy it up.:

Not bad - it would be so much easier to acces the light bowls from the front.

At the risk of upsetting you-know-who, I think Nissan effed up that engineering design bit !
