Motorsport at the Palace - Crystal Palace 2010[/b][/color]

Location: Crystal Palace, London , UK
The event will be split into two days over the traditional 'Racing at the Palace' bank holiday dates of 30th and 31st May 2010. The first day, Sunday, will be dedicated to both modern and older machinery, with everything from standard shopping cars to fire-spitting World Rally Cars expected, and just about everything in between. Bank Holiday Monday will celebrate the history of motor sport at the Palace, with cars dating from 1899 to 1972, plus a few modern surprises littered throughout the day. Plenty of specialist clubs will display their finest machinery, along with a number of specialist retailers. A special guest appearance by 'Roary the Racing Car' and his friends is proposed for our younger visitors' pleasure, while others can take a trip along memory lane viewing the stunning AA Heritage Collection, and a traditional 'Wall of Death Show' will excite all witnesses. During the preceding week and over the weekend Palace FM will be on-air; playing music, providing event information: plus, of course, sponsors’ messages. The Rally Show 2010 at Chatsworth

The Rally Show is a unique motorsport experience set in the spectacular grounds of Chatsworth House. The show incorporates part of the former RAC Rally stage (to learn more about the rallying history of Chatsworth, click here) and turns it into a spectator-based event complete with all the thrills of special stage rallying, without the marathon walk through the woods! There is no better place in the UK to enjoy the rallying experience with such perfect views of the action. Watch historic and World Rally Cars take on Chatsworth’s famous set pieces of rallying; the jump and the water splash.

The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed is provisionally scheduled to take place over the weekend of 2-4 July, subject to final confirmation of the rest of the motor sport calendar. It will be the 18th running of the world’s largest celebration of motoring culture and promises to be packed with action and excitement as the planet’s most glamorous racing machinery and famous drivers gather together in the beautiful surroundings of Goodwood Park. The 2010 theme is currently being finalised and will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Revival is truly a magical step back in time and celebrates the halcyon days of motor racing as it used to be with all of the accompanying spectacle and glamour of the era. Competitors and spectators alike dress in period fashions with the finest sights and entertainment of the pre-1966 era for all to enjoy.
