Headlamp fibreglass surround

Hi everyone,

I have recently had some kind person back into by 280zx.
The only part that I will probably need to replace is the fibreglass headlight surround on the drivers side which has cracked. The rest is just straightening of the bumper mounting brackets. The bumper as a whole seems ok. Really lucky in that the wing and bonnet appear undamaged.

Would anyone have one of these fibreglass headlight surrounds as it will save me having to try and repair the damaged one.
Car is a 1983 280zx 2+2 targa auto.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Stuart

Hi,
I think I could help here but I won't be able to get it off until the weekend after next. Also you are fairly close to me.

Here you go...........................

Its a bit grubby and one of the captive nuts has been replaced by a spire nut. The captive studs are all present tho so it will bolt straight on after cleaning/painting
email pmaczc@madasafish.com to arrange.

Headlight surround

Hi Andyminto / pmac,

Thanks to both of you for your quick response. I will contact pmac first, as he has already removed the unit.
I will be removing the bumper and brackets this weekend, so I may be back on the forums looking for other parts. It depends on what I find.

Many thanks again

Stuart
