Drag Challenge Round 9 - 14th October

Round 9 of the Drag Challenge will be our last Bracket round this year at Shakespeare County Raceway, near Stratford-upon-Avon. 14th October 2012.
Saturday 13th October would be available for anyone wanting to get some early practice in.
An early start required in order to sign on, get scrutineered and in line for morning practice runs. Please ensure that the scrutineer gives you a "Z" prefix number so that records are easy to download. Dial-in after first qualifying session - it is a busy meeting, so we may only get one qualifier. Eliminations in the afternoon following dial-in where your projected time is displayed on the car.

Call me on 01277 374201 to discuss and post below to indicate attendance. We need at least a four car field to make it worthwhile and eight would be ideal.
Driving licence and helmet required for all entrants. Please make sure your car will pass scrutineering - battery secure, throttle return good, seats bolted down at least!

I should be there. Just filled the nitrous bottle and picked up some bigger jets.

I'm hoping for the lower half of the 11's but I didn't have much traction last time so maybe my tyres are going off. Had hoped to get some softener on them but not had a chance.

Hope you like your new clutch after a few test runs and get use to it.

Another great day of socialising and racing. Bit frustrated with my times though. The extra nitrous just gave me more boost (19.5psi) which made more heat and so less power, as can been seen by reduced terminal speed. I am guessing a bit on this one but I remember from my early dyno runs that as the boost increased past 15psi the power reduced as the heat went up. Any comments on this would be great.
