Ok the time is here already for the final meeting at gurston for the 2009 season.

I am sure that Steve will be fighting hard for revenge on the 4 1 score line in the pink hat challange even though the end result is that the hat returns to winter at it's rightful home in the datsun camp.

It appears from you comment Ben that we need to clarify the ruling on who “overwinters” the Hat.

Are we (you) saying that the position of “Winter Hat Administration and Keeping Officer” (WHAKO) is determined by the Total Wins In That season (TWIT), or does it, as I thought remain with the last person to win it until the next contested round ? ie. the person who at the at the Final Interesting Round of the Season is Triumphant ( FIRST)

If FIRST is also a TWIT then plainly there is no problem with him being WHAKO, If however FIRST is not TWIT the situation is more complex. There seems to be no procedure or ruling in place for FIRST to pass the hat to TWIT ( if required) in his capacity as WHAKO when FIRST according to rule, practice and custom has to wear the HAT at prize giving.

I seem to recall that last year when the score was a little different you were suggesting the hat was to be over wintered by the last winner of the season.

This needs to be resolved before Sunday 13th. I submit it to the Committee for a ruling.

Having won the class for the year last season and therefore the coverted pink hat it was of no surprise to me that the pink hat wintered in the winners blue camp!!!!!!!!!

If you need any further clarification of the overly complicated rules to the pink hat challange then I refer the honourable gentleman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to the very rule and regs that he wrote in laying down the challange in the 1st instance.

It is firmly resolved in the pink hat/datsun garage but seems to be confused in the TVR camp. Suggest control/alt/delete and then if required I will give you a reboot on sunday

Where there is no mention of overall season score, however I can see the point that perhaps it should over winter in the camp of the highest scorer. The point I am making is that presentation for over wintering should be a quite separate matter to presentation for prize giving , if you see my point. Probably academic as you will spoil it and win anyway.

Thanks to the immense generousity of a member of THIS club, the ZCLUB and the continued support of other members of THIS club, the ZCLUB we now have a solution which will cover all eventualities.

As this is a sporting gentlemans challenge between 2 sporting gentlemen and not relient on the moral support from our respective clubs, which is fortuitous really as the tvr club have been lacking in that department for you, I will outline the details either on saturday evening over a beer or on sunday at a conveinient time.
